He compeleted his MBBS from Govt Medical College, Bellary in the year 1985 and DNB in Internal Medicine at St Martha’ s Hospital in 1991. He worked at P D Hinduja Sindhi Hospital from 1990–2000 as Registrar, full time and visiting consultant in the Dept of Medicine. Since 2000 practising as consultant physician at various hospitals in the southern part of bangalore and also on the panel of BHEL specialist doctors. He also worked as part time Associate Professor in medicine at several Sevelal Dental college and vignan institute of dental sciences. He is also a Life member of Indian Medical Association and Association of Physicians of India. He has participated in zonal and national conferences of association of physicians of india and also presented papers at the zonal conference. His areas of special interest are respiratory medicine and diabetolog.
